Police say a 29-year-old man is fighting for his life after being shot in the head Wednesday near a family shelter in Midwood. The shooting happened around 10:30pm outside 928 Coney Island Ave. Investigators say the victim was standing on the corner when he was hit in the head and body by gunfire. He was rushed to Maimonides Medical Center, where he remains in critical condition. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
