A 19-year-old man was shot in Homecrest, police say. Witnesses say they heard gunfire near a sneaker and streetwear store at 1213 Ave. U. and ran for cover just after 2:30pm on Monday. The NYPD says officers found the 19-year-old outside 2410 Coney Island Ave., while another crime scene was established in front of 1213 Ave. U. EMS took the man to Maimonides Medical Center.
