A man was shot in the head and killed inside a Brooklyn apartment Sunday night, police said on Monday.
A 911 caller alerted police to the shooting, which happened inside an apartment building on Blake Avenue in East New York around 11:30 p.m. Officers found 28-year-old Andrew Cruz with a gunshot wound to the head.
EMS rushed Cruz to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No arrests had been made, as of Monday morning. The investigation was ongoing.
