A 45-year-old man was shot in Crown Heights, police say. Gunfire rang out in front of 1483 Saint Johns Place just after 7:15pm on Thursday. The NYPD says the man suffered a gunshot wound to the right leg. EMS took him to Brookdale Hospital, where he is expected to recover, according to police. Police are searching for two men who took off in a gray vehicle after the shooting. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
