23-Year-Old Grazed By Bullets Near East New York Park

It happened around 11:30pm near a park along Croton Loop, not far from the benches just off the basketball court.

A 23-year-old man was grazed by bullets and hurt late Wednesday night in East New York, according to the NYPD. It happened around 11:30pm near a park off Croton Loop. The man told police he was sitting on a bench when he suddenly heard gunshots and then realized he had been hit. Officers rushed to the scene and searched the park with flashlights. Video shows them placing several evidence markers in the grass near the basketball court. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
