Police say a man was killed by a box truck in a hit-and-run in Brooklyn Heights. Nasir Nadim, 59, of Brooklyn, was struck by a freightliner box truck near Cadman Plaza West and Clinton Street around 1:00pm on Jan. 23. He died a week later, according to authorities. Nadim and the box truck were involved in a crash blocks away, near State Street and Clinton Street, when Nadim grabbed onto the truck's driver’s side door. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
