A 23-year-old man hit by a Brooklyn Q train last week has succumb to his injuries, his lawyers confirmed to Patch on Monday.
Devon Smalls, who was hit Dec. 18 at Barclays Center station, had been in critical condition since the crash. His death marks the third fatality this year of New Yorkers hit by subway trains.
Friends, neighbors and those who had helped Smalls, who also went by Wizzy, were quick to offer their condolences.
