Man Escapes Police Custody in Brooklyn

Brooklyn police launched an urgent search Tuesday after a man in his 40s slipped from custody following an overnight arrest for assault.

Police are on the hunt for a person who escaped their custody in the early hours of Tuesday morning, according to authorities. A man in his 40s had been apprehended by police after a call for an assault at 2832 West 23 St. in Brooklyn, officials report. The man was later able to escape police custody, though it was not immediately known how. More on this from Pix 11.
