A Brooklyn man was convicted in a jury trial on Monday of fatally stabbing a dancer at a gas station in an anti-gay attack, District Attorney Eric Gonzalez announced. In July 2023, O’Shae Sibley and his friends stopped at a Midwood gas station to fill up their car after a day at the beach. While music was playing from the car, one of Sibley’s friends ended up dancing. During that time, Dmitriy Popov, 20, came out of the gas station store, hurling homophobic and racist slurs at the victim, O’Shae Sibley. More on this from Pix 11.
