A man allegedly spread feces and pieces of a Quran outside a mosque in Brooklyn, sources say. The NYPD is investigating the incident as a hate crime. It happened on March 9 around 4:30am on State Street. The man, who has not yet been caught, first threw pieces of a Quran on the front step, then returned and smeared the feces on the door, sources said. Police are circulating images of the man they believe is responsible for the crime. More on this from Pix 11.
