The NYPD says a 28-year-old man died after being shot by an officer in Canarsie on Tuesday night. Police say officers saw a suspicious Porsche with suspicious plates on the Belt Parkway just after 8 p.m. Officials say the officers did a license plate check on the vehicle and determined the plates to be stolen.
It was then discovered that the vehicle was stolen out of Pennsylvania. Police say when officers attempted to pull the vehicle over on Cropsey Avenue, the vehicle exited and then got back on the Belt Parkway going eastbound. Click here to read more on brooklyn.news12.com.
