Brooklyn activists, local clergy and elected officials took a stance against gun violence in Flatbush Sunday.
They met on the corner of Ocean and Parkside avenues, saying they are aware of the concerns of skyrocketing gun violence in communities in Brooklyn, and are working to get to the root cause of it.
During the "Occupy the Corner" rally, they called for more funding to youth and community organizations, and reminded the community of how much the violence affects young people and their families.
