'It Was Intentional'- Bed-Study Restaurant Targeted With Racist Graffiti

Rustik Tavern owner Frantz Metullus said he shared the incident on Facebook and received support from the community.

Residents of Bedford-Stuyvesant are rallying behind a local restaurant after the business was recently targeted with anti-Black and racist graffiti. “It was out on the street, on the floor, on the ground when you walk in, and it was also by the cellar gate. So it was intentional,” said Rustik Tavern owner Frantz Metullus. He says he has never experienced anything like this in the 16 years he’s owned the restaurant. “I really didn’t know how to take it.
