Investigators Say Bed-Stuy Stabbing Was Prompted by Argument

It happened just before 7:45am on Friday on Bainbridge Street where police sources say officers found a trail of blood leading to the building where the accused assailant, 27-year-old Jayvon Boyd, lives.

Investigators say a deadly stabbing inside a Bed-Stuy apartment began as an argument. According to the criminal complaint, Jayvon Boyd originally denied stabbing Frank Brown. However, the complaint says Boyd later said in a statement that the two got into an argument and Brown hit Boyd with a broomstick, knocking Boyd over. Boyd then got up and stabbed Brown, according to the complaint. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
