Police said a 14-year-old boy was shot inside his apartment Sunday morning at the Howard Houses in Brownsville. Officers arrived at the apartment on the fifth floor at around 10am and found the boy unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the chest. NYPD detectives said police found the teen unconscious and unresponsive with a gunshot wound to the chest. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
