Feds Probe Brooklyn Coffee Shop That Publicly Banned U.S. Rep. Goldman

Poetica Coffee in Brooklyn, owned by Parviz Mukhamadkulov, brewed up a feud with U.S. Rep. Dan Goldman and refused his business over his pro-Israel stance.

The U.S. Department of Justice is now investigating Poetica coffee shop in Park Slope after the java joint served, then rejected, payment from and publicly banned U.S. Rep. Dan Goldman because he strongly supports Israel in the war against Hamas in Gaza. Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, a Trump appointee, announced the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division’s investigation into the matter by posting on X Monday night. More on this from amNY.
