The NYPD says a 73-year-old woman was robbed at gunpoint Saturday morning in Canarsie. It happened around 8:40am inside 1938 Rockaway Pkwy. The woman was approached by a man who forcibly removed her cellphone while pushing her to the ground, authorities say. The suspect then kicked the woman while she was on the ground, pointed a gun at her and made a verbal threat. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
