Police said officers attempted to pull over a car near Starrett City, or on Cozine Avenue and Malta Street around 10:00pm. When officers walked towards the car, the driver allegedly sped off, according to authorities. Police said the car later crashed into a subway station fence at East 105th Street and Farragut Road in Canarsie. Trains ran with delays due to the crash, according to the MTA.
