A family of four is without a home after a fire tore through their apartment Thursday morning, destroying nearly all of their belongings. The fire broke out around 9:30 am on the third floor of a building at 222 Lenox Rd. Liandra Munroe, 17, was in her bedroom when she heard weird crackling sounds in the wall. “I thought it was just rats, because, you know, we live in NYC,” she said.
