Brooklyn DA Hands 20-Year-Sentence to Man Who Sexually Assaulted Teens in His Park Slope Apartment

DA Gonzalez said he was committed to securing justice for sexual assault victims.

A Park Slope man was sentenced to 20 years in prison for sexually assaulting two teenage girls in his apartment after giving them drugs in Aug. 2020, prosecutors announced Wednesday. “Brooklyn is safer with this defendant behind bars,” Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez said following the March 13 sentencing of Christopher Chabrier, 40, who was found guilty following a jury trial on Feb. 13. “With today’s sentence, this defendant, who preyed on two young girls, offering them drugs and subjecting them to sexual assault, has now been held accountable,” said Gonzalez.
