Brooklyn Commuters Shaken After Two Subway Stabbings

Residents said they feel unsafe in subways and are concerned about the safety of loved ones.

Brooklyn residents riding the subway are concerned for their safety after two separate stabbings took place in Brooklyn on Monday. A 20-year-old woman was stabbed in the back with an unknown object at the turnstile at the Franklin Avenue subway station in Brooklyn, according to the NYPD. This comes after police made an arrest in connection to a Monday morning stabbing on the J train at the Kosciuszko Street station in Brooklyn. According to the NYPD, a 52-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the back at around 4:35 am.
