Brooklyn detectives are investigating a deadly shooting on Wednesday afternoon in which the victim, covered in blood, walked into a local hospital seeking medical help. Law enforcement sources said an unidentified group of people in a dark-colored sedan dropped off the 45-year-old victim, Oliver Gamaliel of Wyona Street in Brooklyn, at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brownsville at approximately 2:37 p.m. on April 17. Bleeding from a gunshot wound to the abdomen, Gamaliel was pronounced dead by hospital staff just minutes later at 2:46 p.m., police said. Click here to read more on brooklynpaper.com.
