An affordable housing lottery has opened for five units in an eight-story building under construction at 142 Lenox Road in Flatbush.
It is located on a stretch of Lenox Road that has been undergoing major changes, as Brownstoner documented in 2019.
Of the affordable apartments, there is one studio and four two-bedroom units. Monthly rents start at $1,725 and top out at $2,294. Strangely, the lottery listing says that tenants who sign a lease will receive a free iPhone or Playstation 5 video game console.
