A 90-year-old man was struck and killed by a moped as he was crossing the street in Brooklyn Tuesday morning, police said. Zhuo Xie was crossing East 14th Street and Avenue U in Sheepshead Bay when he was hit by a blue moped that fled from the scene, police said. He got to the corner of 14th Street and looked left down the one-way street. That's when police said a man riding a blue moped slammed into Xie and both men fell to the ground.
