7 Injured in Shootings And Stabbings Following West Indian Day Parade

As of Tuesday morning, no arrests have been made in most of the cases.

The West Indian American Day Parade brought music, culture, and good vibes to Brooklyn on Labor Day, but just a few hours later, that energy turned. Police say at least seven people were hurt in a series of four shootings and one slashing after the parade ended Monday night. One of the most recent shootings happened around 9:30pm near Rochester Avenue and Eastern Parkway. That’s where a 14-year-old boy was shot in the hand and back. More on this from News 12 Brooklyn.
