Construction kicked off this week for the second phase of a new affordable housing development from BFC Partners in Coney Island, 6sqft reports.
The $189-million project, located at 1607 Surf Avenue, will consist of 376 residential units, 9,000 square feet of community space, 11,000 square feet of commercial uses, and a new primary care clinic to be operated by New York City Health and Hospital Corporation. Other project components include a landscaped rooftop deck, a fitness room, a chidlren's play area, and parking for 61 vehicles.
