According to law enforcement sources, a young woman was riding a northbound D train as it entered the New Utrecht Avenue and 55th Street station at around 1:52am on May 22 when a horrific attack occurred. The perpetrator approached the victim, brandished an “unknown sharp object” and stabbed the unsuspecting woman in the torso and on the shoulder, police described.
