2 NYPD Officers Injured in Bed-Stuy Crash After Chase of Stolen Car

Two officers, along with the 47-year-old man who stole a car, were hospitalized with minor injuries.
A crash left two officers hurt Sunday afternoon in Bed-Stuy, according to police. Authorities say police were notified by a 47-year-old man that his white Toyota Camry was stolen by an unknown individual near Marcus Garvey Boulevard around 3:15pm. Shortly after, police spotted the stolen vehicle on Tompkins and Jefferson Avenues. Police say the driver of the stolen Camry, 30-year-old Kalvin Ellis of Coney Island, was arrested after attempting to flee the scene. Click here to read more on brooklyn.news12.com.
