Maimonides Health on Sept. 29 opened the new Maimonides Doctors Clinton Hill Pavilion, a modern healthcare hub that brings nearly 40 doctors across 14 specialties under one roof.
The state-of-the-art facility, located at Vanderbilt and Atlantic Avenues, represents a major investment in the health and well-being of central Brooklyn, according to hospital officials.
The Pavilion consolidates three existing practices: Maimonides Doctors Sunrise Medical Group, Maimonides Obstetrics and Gynecology Women’s Health, plus Maimonides Multispecialty Care into one space designed for coordinated care.
"For more than 100 years, Maimonides has been providing state-of-the-art, person-focused health care with a strong belief that every Brooklynnite deserves access to this high-quality care," said Ken Gibbs, president and chief executive officer of Maimonides Health.
The brand-new building features 43 exam rooms, seven surgical exam rooms, a dedicated surgical procedure room, OB/GYN imaging with ultrasound, a vascular lab and a full range of cardiac diagnostics. On-site testing is available for bloodwork, strep and COVID-19, with coordination for more complex lab work.
The Pavilion offers spacious waiting areas filled with natural light, private exam rooms and a fully ADA-compliant layout. It is easily accessible by public transit, with on-street and garage parking available. Additional touches include one-stop scheduling for multiple appointments, a contactless check-in system, modern amenities and a lactation room.
"With this new facility, we're not only expanding as a health system, but we're raising the bar for the health care available to Brooklynites, in terms of quality, experience, and convenience," said John Marshall, MD, executive vice president and chief medical officer of Maimonides Health.
