IDNYC cardholders can access services and programs offered by the City as well as by businesses. It also helps New Yorkers gain access to all City buildings that provide services to the public and is accepted as a form of identification for accessing numerous City programs and services.
Additionally, IDNYC offers a wide range of benefits to cardholders, including a free one-year membership at as many as 40 of the City's leading museums, NYC attractions, sports events, concert halls and botanical gardens, as well as at some of your favorite Brooklyn institutions such as BAM, BRIC and Prospect Park Zoo. Some of the benefits that are included:
- Discounted memberships to YMCA locations and NYC Parks Department recreation centers.
- IDNYC card awards savings on classes at 1,000+ schools in NYC.
- A 50% discount on Bike New York annual memberships, and a 15% discount on CitiBike annual memberships.
