- Hand-Lettered Art By Harriet Faith. Quote By Eleanor Roosevelt
This is not the first quote by Eleanor Roosevelt that I have used. I painted another quote from her almost exactly one year ago. (coincidentally) Click here to see it.
She was an amazing humanitarian and an advocate for laborers, immigrants, minorities, women and children. I usually use quotes that are less commonly known, and this one is very famous, but it caught my attention this week; the words seemed to almost sing their way into my mind, so I decided to use it.
It is particularly important to hold fast to your dreams. The times we live in are so tumultuous. It is easy to let what we see around us influence what we think is possible. Dreams can seem like wisps of smoke and mist if we only hold them in our mind. It can help to tell them to trusted friends or write them down just for ourselves. Believing in them........continuing to believe in the beauty of what we want to see around us is very important .........and completely worth it!
Believe!
Believe in the beauty of your dreams.....!
