Queen One Inc., a commerce technology company, will open its new headquarters at 25 Kent Ave. in Williamsburg with the help of state tax credits.
The company is investing more than $10 million in the 30,000-square-foot space and plans to create 600 full-time tech jobs, Governor Kathy Hochul said on Monday.
“New York is the destination of choice for the next generation of technology companies, and Queen One’s decision to launch its headquarters in Brooklyn is a powerful endorsement of that momentum,” Hochul said in a statement.
To support this expansion, the state is offering Queen One up to $6 million in performance-based Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits, tied to job creation targets. The headquarters will house roles across artificial intelligence, software development, and data science, as well as sales, marketing and partnerships.
Founded in New York, Queen One develops technology for commerce brands that helps bring storytelling and revenue generation to digital platforms. The new office is designed not just as a workplace but as a multifunctional space for collaboration, events, and community programs. During weekends, the company will convert the space into a center for adults with autism, offering inclusive programs focused on connection and creativity.
25 Kent is a 500,000-square-foot, eight-story building now primarily managed by Global Holdings and is Brooklyn’s first ground-up commercial development in more than 40 years.
“As longtime investors in 25 Kent, we’re excited to now take the lead on the building’s next chapter as we celebrate this significant lease signing in the Brooklyn office market,” said Craig Panzirer, senior vice president and director of Leasing at Global Holdings. “Our focus is on investing in new capital improvements and positioning the building as a hub for the next generation of creative and tech innovators — companies like Queen One. We look forward to unlocking the full potential of this trophy property in the heart of Williamsburg.”
