Brooklyn entrepreneurs looking to grow or start their businesses can attend Mangrove Community Business Academy, a business incubator and accelerator offering startups the tools and training needed for long-term success.
The 12-week course will take place at Flatbush Central Caribbean Marketplace, located at 2123 Caton Avenue in Brooklyn. The accelerator offers hands-on training in business fundamentals such as bookkeeping, marketing, financing, budgeting and more to entrepreneurs seeking to start new ventures, and to improve, strengthen, and expand their existing businesses.
Sessions will take place each Wednesday, March 15–May 31, from 6–9 p.m., with informational sessions on March 8, March 15, and March 22. .
Payment plans are available for those who qualify for the $60 course, and subsidized rates are available for local residents in zip code 11226 and for NYCHA residents in any zip code.
