The Program officially opened its brand-new basketball facility in Greenpoint on Sept. 2, bringing state-of-the-art resources to Brooklyn’s young athletes.
The launch was marked by a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by co-founders Griffin Taylor and Jared Effron, alongside investors and advisors Carmelo Anthony, Chris Mullin, Miles McBride and Epiphanny Prince.
Guests packed into the new space for the hub's first basketball tournament, with appearances from friends of the brand including Fabolous, Kelli Giddish, Lance Stephenson, Taj Gibson and Tyler Kolek.
Located at 255 Java St., the 12,500-square-foot facility features regulation courts, turf and weight training areas, recovery zones, staff offices and retail space. Members will have daily access to coaching, skill development programs and opportunities to learn from NBA and WNBA players who are expected to use the space for their own training while also mentoring youth.
At its core, The Program’s mission is to create a hub where the next generation of basketball players can grow both on and off the court. By combining world-class coaching with access to elite athletes, the space aims to help young players reach their full potential while building a strong community in the heart of Brooklyn.
