Gorillaz has brought their immersive House of Kong exhibition to the Brooklyn Navy Yard, giving fans a chance to explore the virtual band’s 25-year history ahead of its return to New York for a Madison Square Garden performance, according to Music Industry Weekly.
The exhibition opened Sept. 1 at the Agger Fish Building, 299 Sands St., and will run through Sept. 28.
The experience takes visitors through Gorillaz’s music, artwork, characters and fictional world, with the official House of Kong site describing it as an immersive experience celebrating the band’s history.
Tickets must be purchased in advance, with admission starting at $50. The exhibition is open daily from 10:00am to 10:00pm, with the final entry at 8:30pm.
The Brooklyn installation brings a major music-focused cultural attraction to the Navy Yard, connecting the neighborhood’s industrial setting with the visual and musical world created by Gorillaz.
Visitors can see memorabilia and visual elements spanning the band’s career, including the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro featured in the “Stylo” music video.
The exhibition, produced by Stephan Gallagher's studio SWEAR, also includes a shop offering exclusive Gorillaz merchandise, including items connected to the band’s 2026 album, "The Mountain," as well as apparel and collectibles.
House of Kong will remain at the Brooklyn Navy Yard through Sept. 28, giving fans several weeks to visit before the Madison Square Garden show. The Brooklyn stop is part of Gorillaz’s North American touring schedule, with performances continuing through October.
Visitors should purchase exhibition tickets in advance, while the accompanying merchandise shop provides an additional way for fans to engage with the band’s catalog.
