The Brooklyn Nets have unveiled a Classic Edition uniform and commemorative court for the 2026-27 season, marking the franchise’s 60th season and the 50th anniversary of the American Basketball Association-National Basketball Association merger.
Both designs will debut Oct. 21 at Barclays Center when the Nets host the Charlotte Hornets in their home opener. The uniform features the red, white and blue colors associated with the team’s ABA roots and will be available online and in-store at Brooklyn Fanatics beginning Oct. 19.
The commemorative court incorporates the franchise’s 60th-season logo at center court, past team branding along the sideline and the names of more than 575 players who have worn a Nets jersey across the court apron. The baseline recognizes the 1976 merger, which brought four ABA franchises, including the Nets, into the NBA.
The Oct. 21 opener will include performances by the Brooklynettes and Team Hype, along with 360-degree player footage and technology-driven fan experiences developed with Alibaba, the team’s technology and cloud partner. The arena will introduce Real-Time 360-degree Replay and a Nets Figure Lab, where fans can create personalized collectible cards.
Barclays Center’s latest upgrades include a redesigned Main Atrium featuring WAVE, an installation by artist Sarah Sze, a 9,000-square-foot event-level club and improvements to the arena’s control room.
New food offerings will also highlight local businesses and cuisines, including Mediterranean street food from Miznon and grilled cheese sandwiches from Luke Dog Gourmet Grilled Cheeses.
Throughout the season, the Nets will host six Eras Nights featuring alumni appearances, themed entertainment and giveaways. Nets Unite games and community initiatives will recognize Brooklyn’s diverse communities, while the return of The Block will give dedicated supporters a designated lower-bowl section.
Tickets for the Oct. 21 home opener are listed through the team’s website, Ticketmaster and the Barclays Center box office. The anniversary celebrations will continue throughout the season.
