Tastes of Brooklyn, a Brooklyn group that organizes food and drink crawls all over the borough, launches their first spring event with the "Tastes of Bed-Stuy" on Saturday, April 13.

More than 20 vendors will take part in a sumptuous food and drink crawl in this diverse, creative, culture-rich neighborhood, according to a news release. Some of the proceeds from the event will help support Seeds in the Middle, a nonprofit.

Tastes of Bed-Stuy especially honors Lloyd Porter, a Bed-Stuy farm to table legend and actor, who passedd from COVID-19 in 2020.

Profits will also support the Lloyd Porter Culinary Scholars, now being mentored by Ben Grossman and Craig Samuel of BC Restaurants; Steve Lipschutz of Lady Moo Moo;  and Titus Mitchell of Stuy Burgers.

Tickets are available at tastesofbrooklyn.com

The next food and drink crawl is "Tastes of Franklin Avenue" in Crown Heights on May 18 and "Tastes of Park Slope" on June 1.
