(L to R) DeeDee Bridgewater, Nubya Garcia and Chef Adjuah are set to perform at 2025 BRIC JazzFest in October.

The 11th annual BRIC JazzFest returns in October, bringing an electric mix of global sounds to the borough’s cultural hub. This year’s theme, Brooklyn, To The World!, turns the spotlight on jazz as a living, breathing language shaped by migration, resistance and collaboration.

Headliners Dee Dee Bridgewater and Chief Adjuah anchor the festival with powerhouse performances that nod to jazz’s rich legacy while pushing its future forward.

"BRIC JazzFest continues to reflect the world we live in — expansive, rooted and ever-evolving," said Deron Johnston, chief program officer at BRIC. "This year’s lineup celebrates the global communities and cultural movements shaping jazz today."

Curated by producer and composer Adrian Younge, whose recent and upcoming work spans Brazilian psychedelia to West African highlife, the 2025 JazzFest brings together legends, innovators, and rising stars over two electrifying nights. From the hypnotic Moroccan trance jazz of Saha Gnawa to London saxophonist Nubya Garcia’s fusion of club beats and diasporic sounds, the roster celebrates the diversity and innovation of contemporary jazz.

Women lead more than half the acts, reflecting a fresh wave of voices reshaping the genre. Alongside the established icons, rising stars like bassist Endea Owens and NYC subway-born New Jazz Underground add new chapters to jazz’s story.

Tickets are on sale now with early bird pricing at $49.50 for a single day and $90 for both nights.
