The LeFrak Center at Lakeside in Prospect Park on Tuesday announced the launch of its 2026 Roller Skating Summer Concert Series, a new seasonal program that will transform the venue's covered rink into a destination for live music, roller skating and community activities throughout July and August.

The seven-show series will feature a mix of emerging and established touring artists performing from 6:00pm-10:00pm on select Fridays and Saturdays.

Concerts begin July 24 with Dogpark and continue through Aug. 28 with performances by Fish in a Birdcage, The Happy Fits, TRAGEDY: Glam Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees, Jukebox the Ghost, an LCD Soundsystem tribute experience by LSD Clownsystem and Phoneboy.

"Our vision is to create a summer tradition that brings people together through music, movement and community," said Jordan Ekstein of Ekstein Development. "The LeFrak Center offers a truly unique setting where guests can skate, discover new artists, connect with local businesses and enjoy an unforgettable night in Prospect Park."

Guests will be be able to watch performances from the rink floor or rooftop VIP areas while enjoying food and beverages from Duck Island Café. Each event is expected to draw about 1,000 attendees, with ticket prices varying by performance.

Beyond the concerts, the series will include public roller skating, family-friendly activities, local vendor activations and community programming. Organizers also plan to partner with Brooklyn-based businesses, schools and cultural organizations through educational initiatives and collaborative events.

The series will run through the end of August at the LeFrak Center at Lakeside in Prospect Park. Ticket information and additional event details will be released before each performance.
