Hundreds of fans gathered to see Cardi B in Brooklyn on Aug. 10 after the rapper was spotted in Sunset Park.
The Grammy Award-winner made the appearance to film a music video for her latest single “Ah Ha,” which was released on July 31.
Cellphone videos showed her on 48th Street between 4th and 5th avenues, which was shut down by a production crew, reported news12.
The artist was also seen on 58th Street, surrounded by flags from countries such as Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic, reported the Brooklyn Eagle.
“It was really exciting just seeing her,” Beatriz Dominguez of Sunset Park told news12. Another ongoer said that people had driven in from New Jersey to see her.
Cardi B was raised in the Bronx, and her appearance in Sunset Park this week was not her first in Brooklyn.
In 2022, she was seen in Brownsville attending an event from Community Capacity Development, an organization that aims to equip black and brown communities with sustainable growth tools. On July 25, Cardi made an appearance in East Williamsburg at a one-night-only event hosted by Pacha New York.
