On Friday, May 6, Brooklyn Center for the Arts will present its 2022 Virtual Gala, with performances by an exciting lineup of artists-in-training and featuring American Ballet Theater Principal Dancer & Dance Icon Misty Copeland as the guest speaker.
BCA's mission is to provide access to classical and contemporary art forms for underprivileged communities throughout New York City.

The gala is presented as an effort is to raise funds that will go toward a number of BCA's needs, including the revitalization of its facility in Brooklyn, its pre-professional arts programs, community performances, and its scholarship fund.
This gala, which was pre-recorded by BRIC Media Company through its Media Capture Technical Assistance Grant program and curated by BCA Associate Artistic Director Tristan Grannum), includes performances by students who have performed with Alvin Ailey 2, American Ballet Theater Studio Company, School of American Ballet, Brooklyn United Marching Band, MADD Rhythms Tap Group, "So You Think You Can Dance'', Laguardia High School, The Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, and so much more!
