There's always plenty to do in the city that never sleeps and New Year's Eve in Brooklyn is no different.

Here's a small sample of what you can do to commemorate, or forget, 2023.

1. Fireworks at Grand Army Plaza

Don't mind a crowd but want to avoid Times Square? Head to the north end of Prospect Park and join Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso and Prospect Park Alliance for music and fireworks. Quintessential Playlist will perform live at 10 pm before the fireworks begin.

2. Gogol Bordello at Brooklyn Bowl

For many years, punk, gypsy rock band Gogol Bordello used to play new year's shows in the lower Manhattan. Now they bring their Romani-inspired music to Williamsburg. They play with c*mgirl8, Puzzled Panther, and DJ ZAS. Show starts at 8:30 p.m.

3. EDM and More at Kings Theatre

A show and spectacle headlining Jade Cicada will be at the majestic Kings Theatre in Flatbush. Technically day-two of the festivity (single day tickets are available), various DJs and VJs will be joined by the Iconic House of Miyake Mugler, Quixotic Aerialists, Prismatik and Fou York that's sure to enliven all of your senses.

4. Fire Eating and Sword Swallowing at Coney Island USA

A night of high flying, confetti covered shenanigans by Coney Island's favorite troupe of weirdos starts at 10pm at Coney Island USA. There's also live music by the Mary Lous in the Freak Bar, free pinball all night long, and an appearance by Baby New Year.

5. Grab a Cold One at Five Boroughs Brewing

Head to the tap room in Sunset Park to enjoy $5 craft beers, pizza from Sunset Pizza, and let DJ Denny spin you into the new year.

And of course, if you're still looking for a good party, you can find plenty by checking out our events calendar here!
