Joshua Needelman is a Brooklyn-born freelance writer. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 2016 and bounced around newspapers in the Mid-Atlantic and Deep South before landing back in New York in 2021. His words have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Guardian and more. He is interested in youth culture, cannabis, homelessness and more. In his free time, he likes to drink green tea and watch professional wrestling -- and yes, he knows it isn't real.
