It's a no-brainer that Brooklyn is home to some of the best pizza joints in New York, but catching up with your favorite sports team and sinking some beers is also a key attraction. There’s nothing better than heading down and finding yourself a comfy couch with beers flowing, friends chatting, and the TV screen as wide as can be. Luckily, we’ve rounded up Brooklyn’s top five sports bars, so all you need to do is get yourself there, sink some bottles and place some sports bets on the winning teams – good luck!

1. Clara’s, Bushwick

If there’s a more up and coming area than Bushwick, we’d love to know! Head over to Clara’s on Melrose Street and dive into the ultimate sports-fueled frenzy. Open till 4am every day besides Sunday when it’s still open till 12am, this bar has a cool yet pub-like feeling. There are endless screens to watch live sports, projectors for the big events, and the food menu boasts a bunch. The neighborhood bar serves up classic pub food and the best bit? Cheap drinks, too! Serving buffalo wings that were voted as one of the “Best in Bushwick” by the Bushwick Daily, Clara’s is our number one spot for catching up with pals and chowing down on good sport and great food.

Oh, and no game day? No problem! This bar has booths, pool tables, jukeboxes and anything else you’d need for an all-night occasion.

Catch your Brooklyn Nets shoot some hoops and enjoy the variety of food trucks to take your fancy when you’re feeling hungry.
