A Brooklyn man is facing vehicular manslaughter charges in a crash on Highway 31 in Hopewell Township, New Jersey, that killed two people. Police say Brooklyn resident Kongmi Khu, 32, was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound when he tried to pass two vehicles in a no-passing zone. During this attempt, Khu struck a Nissan Maxima traveling north. Police said that a 13-year-old boy sitting in the front seat of the Jeep was severely injured and later died at the hospital.
