Everything Brooklyn Voters Need to Know About The Primary Election

There are two heated Congressional races in Brooklyn. Early voting starts on Saturday, June 13.

Early voting starts on Saturday, June 13, and will continue through Sunday, June 23, in the lead-up to primary election day on Tuesday, June 23.

Voters who are registered with a party can cast their ballot for a candidate running for U.S. House of Representatives, state Senate and Assembly, and state Comptroller.

High profile Congressional races in Brooklyn include NY-7, with Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso running against Queens Assemblymember Claire Valdez, City Council Member Julie Won and Public Defender Vichal Kumar, and NY-10, where incumbent Dan Goldman tries to fend off former city Comptroller Brad Lander. 

How To Vote

This is a guide for Brooklyn (Kings County) voters. 

To vote by mail, ballots must be postmarked by June 23 and received by June 30. Request a ballot here.
