St. Francis College has selected Timothy Cecere as the 20th President of the College, effective immediately. President Cecere has been serving as Interim President since July 2023. Prior to assuming the position of Interim President of the College, he was Acting President from March 2023 to July 2023, and Chief Operating Officer from August 2022 to March 2023.
Prior to commencing employment at St. Francis College, Cecere was a member of the Board of Trustees. President Cecere brings decades of experience in administrative operations, human resources, and talent development from his work with WPP, the world’s largest advertising, media and public relations company.
Born in Brooklyn, President Cecere is among the first in his family to attend college and truly committed to the role this institution can play in the city where he was raised. President Cecere earned degrees in psychology and business from St. John’s University and a master’s degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University. President Cecere is also the proud parent of a St. Francis College graduate.
