Queens Night Market Free Business Seminars Expand To Brooklyn

Three sessions will be held at St. Francis College on February 26 and March 6 and 13.

Queens Night Market, along with the city Department of Small Business Services, will host a round of seminars in Brooklyn for individuals interested in starting a small business. 

The seminars are open to vendors interested in the Queens Night Market, a popular outdoor food market, as well as individuals and families interested in starting any kind of business in NYC. Over 600 aspiring entrepreneurs enrolled for the seminar series over the last several years, according to a news release. 

The free seminars in Brooklyn will be led by the Department of Small Business Services, Business Solutions Centers. The seminars will cover a range of topics such as business plans, branding and marketing, operational efficiency, social media and technology and obtaining permits.

It will also cover Queens Night Market-specific topics and feature guest speakers, expert panels, networking and Q&A opportunities.

The Brooklyn seminars will be held on February 26, March 6 and March 13 from 6:00 to 9:30 pm at St. Francis College.

The Queens Night Market will return for its ninth season to the New York Hall of Science in Flushing Meadows Corona Park on Saturday nights, starting April 13. This season will feature a diverse array of cuisines including Peruvian anticuchos, Trinidadian curry crab, Romanian-Hungarian chimney cakes, Tibetan momos, Ukrainian blintzes and more.
