On Tuesday, December 19th, the Institute for Community Living (ICL), a nonprofit that helps New Yorkers with behavioral health challenges, hosted a holiday party for dozens of clients at their East New York Health Hub in Brooklyn.

The party was attended by over 50 clients of the hub who experience serious behavioral health challenges and housing insecurity. The holiday party featured holiday activities, karaoke, a photo booth, ornament decorating, festive food, dancing, and gift tote bags.

ICL's Hub is an open and welcoming environment that offers programs and services that address both the socio-economic and clinical determinants of health. Individuals and families that are part of the ICL have access to a full array of services, including primary care, mental health care, housing services, nutritional support and job placement. This integrated approach makes the Hub the first facility of its kind in New York.
