The Brooklyn Museum announced its September lineup of programs and events, which includes the 10th annual dapperQ fashion show.

The month will also bring community celebrations, workshops and a pop-up market to connect Brooklyn residents with art, history and culture.

An Art History Happy Hour will focus on Red Grooms, Mimi Gross and The Ruckus Construction Co.: Excerpts from Ruckus Manhattan.

Museum on Wheels will head to Brownsville on Sept. 13 with more creative art activities, and returns to Williamsburg on Sept. 27 during El Puente’s !WEPA! Festival, offering hands-on projects, interactive exhibits and community-building activities.

Fashion takes center stage Sept. 11 as the museum hosts dapperQ Presents Ten, celebrating a decade of showcasing LGBTQIA+ designers during New York Fashion Week.

The evening includes a pre-show happy hour, shopping and a runway presentation featuring new collections by both established and emerging creators.

Brooklyn artisans will be in the spotlight starting Sept. 14 with the Brooklyn Pop-Up Market, running Sundays through Nov. 16. The weekly market brings together more than 30 vendors selling handmade art, jewelry, fashion and home goods.

Families can take part in Drop-In Workshops: Life at Sea on select weekends beginning Sept. 20. These interactive sessions encourage children and adults to add their own creations to the underwater world featured in Oliver Jeffers’ exhibition Life at Sea.
